Student Governing Association - Media Senator
During my terms as the Media Senator for the Rutgers Newark Student Governing Association, I have been able to make a positive impact on campus and work on a number of initiatives that help build and develop myself as a person and as a leader.
The club has allowed me to work as a team with other members on the governing council to be an agent of change and better the lives of students, faculty and staff on campus.
My First Leadership Role
My time at Rock N Air is one of my greatest accomplishments as a worker. Through hard work, I earned the position of Shift Lead which allowed me to grow as a leader, and as a person. I gained a lot of organizational skills, as well as experience in very fast paced and chaotic environments. I had a lot of important responsibilities, such as opening and closing the park, assigning breaks, and I even developed the closing procedures that are still used today.
Joining Air Force ROTC has been one of my biggest professional and personal developments. I have learned and grown an immense amount since beginning the program in Fall 2025. I have since been appointed as a Nighthawk News Assistant for Fall 2025, where I was responsible for monthly newsletters for my fellow cadets. Most recently, for Spring 2026, I have been appointed as Social Media Assistant and I am responsible for running the Detachment 490 Instagram account.
I am one of the founders of the Rutgers University - Newark Metaverse Club. We were officially recognized in Spring 2026 for a provisional semester, where we will have the chance to prove ourselves. This is a club where I serve as the President. We have made it our mission to serve as an avenue for undergraduate students to gain hands-on research experience in the Metaverse Field. Additionally, we want to emphasize education on computer literacy and cybersecurity.
Here is my portfolio for my game design class. This is a demonstration of my abilities as a programmer. I was able to push myself and create something I would have never guessed I could have made using the Phaser 3 library.
